Ing. Aigner Wasser-Wärme-Umwelt-GmbH is an Upper Austrian company based in Neuhofen an der Krems, 20 kilometers south of Linz. The company, which is wholly family-owned, was founded in 1947 and is now managed by the third generation.
As a reliable and attractive employer in the region, we now have around 100 employees and are active in Austria and neighboring countries.
Our history / Our core competence
Our company has its roots in the plumbing trade, which means we build and renovate sanitary facilities such as bathrooms, toilets and heating systems. We have also been planning and building air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as solar thermal systems and photovoltaic systems for private apartments, detached houses and apartment buildings for many years. Our specialist store reflects the world of "Bathroom & Co", and since 2019 we have had our own department for electrical installations. Our 24-hour service is also very popular, allowing "your plumber" to be reached at any time.
Over the decades, the customer base expanded to include residential developers, commercial and industrial companies, local authorities and public institutions. Accordingly, the company's portfolio expanded to include refrigeration technology, air conditioning and ventilation technology, sewage treatment plant construction, water technology and stainless steel construction as well as sophisticated steam and thermal oil technology. The construction and operation of local and district heating networks with and without energy centers in the form of biomass heating plants led to the founding of the company's first subsidiary in the energy contracting business area in 2009: Aigner Energie Contracting GmbH
Our vision
Our vision is a clean and environmentally friendly supply of water, heating, cooling and electricity to private households, commercial and industrial enterprises as well as public institutions and municipalities. In order to achieve this goal, we continuously train ourselves and our employees and closely follow new trends in the field of home and building technology as well as technological developments in the use of renewable energy sources.
