Using the potential energy inherent in the organic substances from sewage sludge has become an increasingly important economic factor in building technology. Cogeneration plants now use biogas to generate electricity and heat. Heat recovery from wastewater, leftover food and reused grease is becoming an increasingly significant technology that can be combined with optimized biogas yields. For years we have been developing efficient ways of using energy and in some areas we have even pioneered methods.
